I lovelovelove how this cover of the Talking Heads classic was featured in Transformers 2. I had to restrain myself not to squeal out loud during the frat party scene. I settled with rubbing my hands in glee, lest I look like a fangirl. Which I secretly am. :D
Transformers 2 was immensely enjoyable. I like explosions. I like robots. And I LOVE MEGAN FOX. That's a winning combination right there. I'll admit there were some really cheesy corny parts, but hey, it was still funny no? I do have one question though, what the hell happened to the twin autobots??? One second they were fighting Devastator, and poof, you don't see them for the rest of the movie!
Guess we'll find out in T3. Fantastic. More waiting. :E At least Ponyo comes out in August! :D
Have a safe weekend everyone! I'm going to get my hair trimmed tonight, and attend a wedding tomorrow. Yay fun. -____-

Found this while I was clearing my hard drive today and had to post this up. I did this collage for my friendster account two years ago. You know, when friendster was still "cool". Anyway, they all still hold true... Funny how some things don't change after time.

I finally got around to watching Fight Club last night. I've said if before, and I'll confess it again, I L.O.V.E. Edward Norton. Brad Pitt was a class act too, and now it's one of my favourites. Summer Movie season is here! Exciteeeeeeee!!
I guess I should mention that 17 Again was a surprisingly good movie too. After the brother gave his thumbs up, I decided to give it a go, even with Zac Efron *shudder* as the protagonist. It's been a while since I laughed till I couldn't breathe, and that scene in the restaurant with the LotR references and the Tengwar Elven dialogue was CLASSIC. Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. I then tried describing the scene to mum, but she didn't seem to find it as funny as I did. I guess it takes a geek to understand geek jokes. Haha
Another working weekend up ahead. Major bummer, but I only have two weeks to go till I jet off to KL so that more than makes up for it! So I'm going to spend the weekend clearing up the office, at least to a "presentable" appearance. Currently, it looks like a half storage room crammed with corporate giveaways and stacks of trade publications and half colour-crazy workstations.
My bad. Heh.
Why the sudden channeling of my inner Martha-Stewart, you ask? Well, our new Director of Sales & Marketing (i.e. new boss) will be taking the helm late July, so... I'm pretty nervous/relieved/anxious/terrified/excited. :D

I am totally psyched for my upcoming holiday to KL next month! Super crazy excited!! I have 9 days and there is so much I want to do!
1. Serious catch up time with the siblings.
2. Catch up with old friends, (you hear that Hazel!!!!!!!) and Stephy!!!! :D
3. Eat, Eat, Eat;
Garlic Cheese Naan & Maggi Goreng Ayam at Mamak, Pickled Vege Noodles at Prince, Carl's Jr, Bottomless Chips and Salsa at Chili's, Starbucks, McD's Hash Browns, Dunkin Donuts' Boston Creme, Auntie Anne's Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels, Krispy Creme Donuts, Garlic Butter Crabs at Old Klang Road, Bah Kut Teh, Dominoes' Pizza, and and and OMG, going to spend most of my $$$ on food!
4. Shop, Shop, Shop;
Everywhere!!!
5. Get new tattoo.
6. Get new reading material and cart off remaining Anne Rice books back to Brunei
7. Buy dog stuff for Moo Lek
8. Come back to Brunei extremely broke.

I'm distressed over the fact that the regular shows I follow have finished their current seasons, and won't be back for several months. Distressed. Upset. Sad. Especially when two of those shows are from JJ Abrams, and you KNOW he screws with your head.
Best show hands down for 08/09? Newcomer, Fringe! The show was a little slow to pick up in the early episodes, but after about 4 episodes, you'll be glad you stuck around. It keeps getting better and better. And the character development is well paced - you don't get attacked by TMI in one episode unlike Lost's character centric episodes. I cannot wait for Season 2!!!
Lost Season 5 was pretty good too. I secretly wish that Kate dies though. Is it just me or does she not irritate the living daylights out of you?!? And Jack too. Urgh.. Heroes on the other hand, was an improvement from Season 2, which i didn't really get into. Not saying that S3 is fantastic. It was alright, kinda unnerving watching Sylar get all emo and 'i-need-hug-plz' ish.
Still need to catch up on Dexter S3 and Project Runway S5 though. So maybe if I keep my fingers crossed, Chong Hock will be nice and get those done along with Tudors S3. :D

here i lie, just like always
1. 4 hour site inspection today followed by a steak lunch and the best sundae in Brunei left me like a bear about to hibernate. i.e. grumpy
2. Bad wisdom tooth beginning of the week. Nurse saved the day with painkillers. Apparently it's not 'out' enough to be extracted. WTF.
3. Waking up and finding your pillow has a huge drool stain is embarrassingly funnier than I imagined it would be. Thankfully, I wake up alone. Ha.
4. On a LOST catch-up frenzy. How is Locke alive??!?! Damn you JJ Abrams!!!!!
5. Kris Allen = American Idol. I guess the majority of America is as conservative as some people say.
6. Nine Inch Nails is on tour along with Jane's Addiction. I don't think they're coming anywhere near South East Asia. *cries*
7. Geeking out with Final Fantasy XII is better than happy pills. Nothing beats zoning out and watching those character levels climb.
8. Ran out of books to read. I've decided to revisit the realm of Dragonlance and read them all over again. Near to clear the credit card so I can order more books!
9. I miss my dog. I haven't seen the little runt in ages!!!!
10. I actually have to resist the urge to attach # to the topic words while typing this post out. It's the Twitterffect...
